James Heal has combined years of accumulated engineering and applications expertise to create a Light Fastness Tester which streamlines and simplifies a difficult area of colour fastness testing.

Light fastness or colour fastness to light is performed on textiles, leather or other materials in order to determine their resistance to colour change or fading due to sunlight exposure. TruFade from James Heal accurately replicates the damaging conditions that these textiles/materials face when exposed to light.

Every function of TruFade has been carefully designed with the user in mind- from its high performance air cooled lamps to its the interchangeable optical filters systems - TruFade is wholly standards compliant and delivers accurate and reliable light fastness test results every time!

TruFade can provide up to 27 sample holders giving a total exposure area of up to 1640cm².
