SnagPod Snaging Resistance Tester

SnagPod is a new snagging resistance tester, in the form of an additional Test Chamber, for a HEAL'S ICI Pilling Tester or a later generation Orbitor.

Key Features
  • Developed jointly by the Snagging Forum, comprising Coats, HEALS, Intertek, PPT (STR) and Technicare (BV)
  • Simulates loops formed on the surface of garments in wear
  • Incorporates 4 snagging bars fitted with pins
  • Four specimens (mounted on tubes) tested simultaneously
  • Test duration: 30 minutes (2000 revolutions)
  • Specimens are graded against SnagPod Reference Photographs
  • Specimen Viewer available
  • Widely used by leading retailers and test laboratories
